Buffalo Hide Holsters

The Crafting Process

We wanted to show you some of the work that goes into our holsters.

Hide Selection

We start off with a beautiful & strong 8-9 oz Buffalo hide leather.

Cutting and punching

The hides are cut out into individual pieces.  The 2 main parts are the body of the holster and the safety clip backing which are cut and trimmed; followed by the hand punched holes for stitching.

Choosing the thread

Our holsters are sewn by hand using a wax coated sinew thread.  This can be found in a variety of colors but we limit to red, black or brown for our products.

Original Style

Our holsters were originally and still can be unadorned yet beautifully crafted after hours of work.

Style Engraved

We are now offering engraved holsters for our customers.  You still get the same great quality leather and design, but now you can choose something that uniquely describes you.

Preparation

Once all the materials are chosen and cut, they are prepared to be stitched.

Stitching

We pride ourselves on not only the choice in quality materials, but most importantly the craftsmanship that goes into every hand stitched holster.

Finished Quality we are Proud of.

Finished quality we are proud of and stand behind 100%
